Description
A series of performances presented by the JCU Afro-American Society. Among them is the production of "Day of Absence" by Douglas Turner Ward. This is a satire about an imaginary Southern town where all the black people have suddenly disappeared and won the Vernon Rice and Obie awards. May, 1972.
