Abstract
This is a close up look at a real social issue in the immigration debate that all too often gets overlooked- how families are torn apart when a parent is deported. This documentary asks the question, What happens if a child loses their parent to harsh immigration law? With interviews of professors, grassroots reform advocates, and families who have experienced this trauma first-hand, it provides clear background as to why we need comprehensive reform and need it now.
